Hello Ken,

I received your e-mail. You are probably in New York now. I hope everything is going well for you. I downloaded your website and printed the information and pictures for my mother. She enjoyed it. I also helped Hector get the information on the computer in Little Tokyo. A friend of yours had a laptop and was showing your website to people last week in front of Enbun market.

How long are you going to be in New York? When are you coming back to Los Angeles? If you are driving throught Santa Fe let me know, I have some really good friends who live in the area. I am sure they would be happy to meet you.

 Kiotsukete,

 Ken Honji

Hello Ken,

How are you doing? Where are you now? My mother is waiting for you to come back to Little Tokyo. She wants to hear you sing.
It's been pretty quite in J-Town. Today is the beginning of the Labor Day Holiday. It seems like most of the people have left town. I am going to enjoy having coffee with my friends.

Take care,

Ken Honji

Hi Ken...

I did send another fax to the St. Louis local paper.. I don't know, if he contacted you or not...
may be it was too late... the reporters name is Dick Weiss...

I also called Chicago Tribune again and faxed them your info plus the ad from the local paper here... same thing with Japan Society... they all should be prepared for you..

I hope you will get more publicity in Chicago...

What about Spring Field? Are you stopping there or hitting straight to Chicago???

What's your schedule after Chicago??? Are you going to Detroit?
Cleveland??
Up to Buffalo, Rochester or down to Philadelphia... I think you should go to Philly... or even to GETTYSBURG northwest from Harrisburg, where there is the battlefield of the biggest civil war in the USA. More people died there in few days, than in Vietnam war. I think it needs it's respect and blessing of the Thousand Cranes and it will bring attention that, War Sucks!!!!
I think you will feel the sadness of the American war there... and the history...

Just my suggestion...

Tonikaku... let me know of your schedule early enough, so I can somehow help you to get the media attention... Lancaster is also very interesting... that's where all the Amish live and you will be able to get there support for sure... they are very humble and conservative people... again it's like going back in time and meeting the first settlers to America...

What about after "Ground Zero"... go all the way to Washington D.C. and play in front of the White House for Peace and Mercy of the situation we are in now???? Or visit the big wall with all the deceased soldiers of the Vietnam war???? I think Washington will be also important for you to visit...

Ken... ganbatte ne... anata ga yatte iru koto wa totemo imi fukai koto dato omou... kangae rareru ijoh.... ni...

Music is very important to all of us... it is proven that, it will also change the vibration we feel to one another... when you played the Sukiyaki song here in Sedona... every body knew this song... everybody
related to Japan... then John Lennon, Bob Dylan related to America...

Being part from both countries.. it was always my dream to get EAST and WEST together and unite... You are doing my Dream... we all are ONE....
Even the kanji "hito" is put together into one with two lines....

Ganbare yo... ooen shiteru yo....
Setsu & wanko-tachi yori
